Rohith’s father has been bedridden with paralysis for over 5 years. His mother is raising two teen boys with little income she earns working for daily wage. Both have secured admission in B Tech to the delight of their mother
Rohith cleared Jawahar Navodaya Vidyala (JNV) entrance test in 2010 and earned 4 year free education up to 12th standard. He achieved 10 CGPA (about 95%) in 10th class and about 90% in 12th standard. Rohith and his brother are supplementing mother’s income by tutoring to manage their regular expenses.
Rohith is from Madhya Pradesh and is not eligible for TPF scholarship as the program is intended for students from Telugu Speaking states. However, one of our donor came forward to sponsor him through our “Adopt-a-student” program, which enables the donor to pick a student of his / her choice as long as they meet the income / academic criteria.
We wish Rohith success in academics and hope that he has a wonderful career ahead to support himself, his family and society.
