TPF issued 59th scholarship to Sai from Guntur District to go to NTTF for Diploma in Electronics

After a successful anniversary event last week to celebrate success of our students, we are back to work. We have issued 59th scholarship to Sai from Guntur District to go to NTTF for Diploma in Electronics.

Sai hails from a family of four. His father works as a contract worker for nearby milk factory and earns approx. 1.75 lac per year. Family live in own house with no other assets to count on. After 10th class,   Sai has secured a Merit quota seat for the three year Diploma course in NTTF, a premier technical education institute. The course fee of approx. 1.75 lacs per year is way out of his family’s reach. We have offered 40,000 rupees to pay for part of his course fee.

Sai is far more matured than many youngsters I have spoken to so far in my experience working for the foundation. He knew family’s finances very well and wanted to pursue this attractive, though expensive, course to share family’s burden early in life. He plans to work right after his diploma and would like to pursue engineering while working simultaneously. His father mentioned that Sai is determined and motivated him to go beyond their means to pay for this course.

Teenagers like Sai are the reason and the inspiration for what we do. We wish him a huge success in his effort to succeed.
