Sree Rama Murthy’s is from farming family from a small village in East Godavari. Due to low returns in farming, his father left village and relocated his family to Hyderabad. He is working as a Watchman in an apartment and mother is working as a cook.

Sree Rama Murthy is a bright student, graduated SSC with 9.7 CGPA and intermediate with 96.7% marks. He qualified JEE MAINS, secured 84592 rank and got admission in Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) college, Hyderabad. Since he joined CBIT through central government exam, he is not eligible for state offered Tuition fee reimbursement.

He has one sister who is preparing at home for long term EAMCET course. Family income of about ₹ 80,000 per year is not enough to support higher educational expenses of both children; hence his sister is taking a break from college. It is very common for girl children in lower economic class to sacrifice education in favor of boys. With our support, we hope that the family will have the financial ability to enroll her back to college.
